Quality and diversity characterize this new collection of ten new jumping stallions. The group was very diverse, each with their own qualities. This group should be good for the breeding program.

With 90 points Grand Slam VDL (Cardento x Wonder A.S. by Heartbreaker, breeder F. Kenis, owner VDL Stud) was a very complete stallion.He earned 9.5s for his reflexes and technique.VDL Stud is also (co-) owner of three other approved stallions, including the well jumping Graziano (Baltic VDL xRienaldine ster by Great Pleasure, breeders H. and A. Barenkamp) who also showed a good character.The champion stallion of Den Bosch, Genius (Baloubet du Rouet x Nicce prest by Cantus, breeder/owner A. & W. Wolters and H.C.C.M. Ongering, co-owned by C.A.M. and E. Oetelaar) was also approved with a good score of 79.

Also good was the Zirocco Blue VDL son Golden Dream (out of Uthalina-M by Julio Mariner xx, breeder H. Coenen, owner H. Jacobs).The sharp and scopey stallion received a 9 for scope and was approved with 85.5 points.Approved with more than 80 points was the Eldorado of the Zeshoek son Grodino (out of Sorina prok by Celano, breeder J. van Loon, owner Alan Waldman). The athletic gray excelled with his scope, for which he received a 9.

Two five year old stallions participated in the 21-Day Test and both were approved.With 83.5 points Elvaro (Calvaro Z by April Love ster sports/sp by Heartbreaker, breeder M.A.G. Maas and owner/breeder D. Nanning,) co-owned by Team Nijhof) was very impressive.
