Kelley Stachon came on board in January 2017 as our newest KWPN-NA team member! Kelley is taking on the role of Director of Operations in our Lexington office. As a Lexington native, Kelley has been involved with horses most of her life. Starting early, she showed in local area shows in Combined Training and Dressage. She took her love of horses with her to UK where she graduated with a BS in Equine Science. Directly out of college she took a position as an Assistant Farm Manager at a nearby Thoroughbred Farm where she worked for over six years. After taking some time off to start a family Kelley rejoined the workforce beginning with USEF as a Horse Recorder and Passport Representative. She went on to become the Accounts Payable Coordinator at Hagyard Equine Medical Institute located across the street from the Horse Park. Most recently Kelley has been the Bookkeeper for Bradley Thoroughbreds. Kelley brings with her a long history in the Equine Industry and a deep love of horses and the Equestrian world.

Liz van Woerden is a horse enthusiast and mother of two from the Netherlands. She moved to the USA for 4 years in 2018 because of her husband’s job in the Airforce. In 2019, she started volunteering for the KWPN-NA. She wrote articles, did a promotional project, translations of Dutch articles and gave presentations about the history of the Dutch Warmblood horse at the 2020 AGM. She then also took on the promotion and sales for several breeders in the USA, researched their breeding programs and manages their social media sites. The KWPN-NA offered her a part time job in 2020. Being educated as communication and organization advisor in English, with a degree in writing and editing, it was an easy transition to combining these skills and start working in English.
In July 2022, Liz moved back to the Netherlands. She started her freelance business Liz van Woerden – Communication and, now as a freelancer, kept working for the KWPN-NA. Liz is responsible for our Social media and promotion in general. She communicates with our members and sponsors and does interviews by Zoom or in person. For our 40th anniversary AGM she has documented the history of the KWPN-NA by interviewing founder Jeff Moore and Debbie Harrison. Liz has helped organize Webinars, several AGMs and Silent/ Stallion service Auctions, has set up the KWPN- NA Youtube channel and took many interesting videos at Keurings and events in NA and Europe. She was chosen as Member of the Year 2022 for giving the KWPN-NA such a positive presence on Social Media and for always passionately promoting the KWPN-NA and her breeders and horses. She has great new ideas and thoughts on how to make the KWPN-NA more successful.
