We look back at an excellent Stallion Service Auction!

As usual, a ‘bidding war’ took place between bidders around auction closing time. Eventually, Willem Greve and Jenny Delorme‘s recently KWPN Erkend show jumper Party in de Hus(Kannan x Coriano) took home the title of SSA high seller, closely followed by Van Olst Horses‘ dressage legend Everdale (Lord Leatherdale x Negro). Newcomer Odin, Marcel Van Bruggen & Tijmen van Steenis‘ KWPN approved Gelders palomino stallion (Edmundo x Vitens), took the third place, with only a small difference in proceeds for the choice donation of DG Bar Ranch.

William Duffy’s Macho (Indiana x Unieko) was the highest selling Harness horse stallion. Rising Star Farm’s Con Capilot (Con Capitol x Pilot), 2024 USEF Champion Hunter breeding sire, got the highest bid as a popular sire for the Hunter breeding direction.

Winning bidders:

✅ Every winning bidder receives a certificate for $100 off of a KWPN-NA Foal Registration.
✅The highest bidder of the entire 2026 Stallion Service Auction receives a free foal registration.

Upcoming Keuring Participants:

✅ Foals by SSA stallions receive free entry to our Foal Futurity at the annual Keuring tour.
✅The highest placed foal by a SSA stallion at our Keuring tour receives a special award.

Thank you all for bidding in our auction this year and supporting our registry! We hope you had fun and got a good deal on a breeding. A special thank you goes to all our generous stallion owners- and agents for donating a breeding, we couldn’t have done this without you!

About the Stallion Service Auction:

The Annual Stallion Service Auction (SSA) helps the KWPN of North America underwrite the many programs offered to its members and breeders; including Live Oak Internationalies and member awards as a result of the annual Keuring (inspection) tour and performance in sport. The prize money for the annual Foal & Yearling Futurity during our Keuring tour is also funded with SSA Proceeds. This year, the proceeds of the Harness stallions will be used to sponsor the Fine Harness Cup drivers at Live Oak International, March 12-15 in Ocala.
