On Course Riding Academy is a really nice location with good footing so the horses can present themselves really well here.  We all enjoyed the nice lunch afterwards.  Thank you to our gracious host, Katie Moriarty!

DGB Cup for 5/6-Year-Olds

NOTORIOUS H2O (Ampere x Icky L ster keur elig PROK by Desperado, Breeder: KENDRA HANSIS, OWNER.: LAUREN CHUMLEY).  Notorious has a walk that is clear, but could have more overtrack. The trot is active with a good posture, however the hindleg needs to be a bit more under the body. The front leg has good shoulder freedom and the canter has a good technique.

DGB Cup for 4-Year-Olds

OSKAR ster IBOP (dr) (Hennessy x Beatrice VDL ster by Prestige VDL, Breeder: DENISE E. OSBORNE, Owner: CHRISTOPHER PRESTON).  Oskar’s walk is active and clear, but could be more supple though the body.  The trot is active and light footed yet he needs to gain more uphill tendency.  The canter has a good jump and balance.

Stb/Ster 3 Year Old – Dressage

PATCHOULI ISF D-OC (Glamourdale x Kandyvrouwe ster keur elig D-OC by Glock’s Toto Jr., BREEDER: IRON SPRING FARM, INC., OWNER: ANDREA WOODNER).  Patchouli ISF is a longlined mare.  However,  at the moment she is still a bit downhill in her body direction.  She has a long neck that has enough shape, and a correct topline.   She Has an elegant way of moving, and moves with sufficient technique and suppleness, however she needs to become a bit stronger.

Young Horse Classes:

Foals/Weanlings – Jumper

TALEGGIO (Judgement ISF crown x Fontine by Fuerst Nymphenburg, BREEDER/OWNER.: ELIZABETH VISAKAY).  Taleggio is a young foal that is nicely developed and has an athletic body, but can gain a bit in strength.  He is a light footed mover with a good balance and suppleness.
