A large group of 14 dressage stallions, including a couple of stand-outs, was approved. There was a large group with high scores. In general, the stallions had a good walk and canter. Rideability was also a positive point. In addition, several stallions were approved because of their blood lines.

Two stallions finished with a total of 86 points: Giovanni (Chippendale x Zarava elite IBOP-dr sport/dr by Scandic, breeder/owner C. van Etten and co-owned by M.P.A.M. Etten) and Glock’s Toto Jr. (Totilas x Desperada by Desperados, breeder Schmidt, owner Gaston Glock. Two very different stallions with excellent qualities. From the very start both stallions were stood out and both continued to develop positively. Giovanni has a particularly good canter, for which he received a 9.5. Glock’s Toto Jr.. is not the most spectacular horse but has a great character and is good to ride. He is the total package with three good gaits and a willing character.

The champion stallion of Den Bosch, Glamourdale (Lord Leatherdale x Thuja pref by Negro, breeder JW Rodenburg, owner Van Olst Trading BV) realized all expectations and was approved with 85.5 points. For canter and posture/balance this eye catcher received nines. Galaxie (Jazz pref x Sun Terra elite EPTM/dr v.Future, breeder P. Bregman, owner Family van Vliet) showed a lot of technique in movement and was one of the most outstanding stallions of this test. Also with a score of 85 was Ferguson (Floriscount x Liebelei by Lauries Crusador xx, breeder Erika Luetjen, owner Shirley Wilaras), rounding out the top of this very good spring test.
