Follow the KWPN Harness Horse stallion show 2021 online
This Saturday, the Harness Horse Stallion show will take place. It will all be broadcasted live on KWPN.tv, with English subtitles!
36 stallions have been signed up for the show. These stallions have 20 different sires. Last year, Idol was the leader with seven sons from his first year, now that title goes to Icellie, who has seven sons from his second year. In total, 33 three-year-olds are offered, including a thoroughbred Hackney stallion and three four-year-olds.
Many stallions come from pedigrees which are rich in predicates and achievements; a few mares are already stallion dams. Some breeding lines have already supplied one or more stallions. Several breeders who are registered as Breeder of the Year have breeding products that participate this year, and some breeders have several breeding products among the young stallions.
After the first round viewing, the second round viewing takes place on this day. There will be no champions selection, but the stallion selection committee, consisting of chairman Lammert Tel, Bauke de Boer, Thomas van der Weiden, and inspector Viggon van Beest, will select harness stallions for priming.
The I-Year, born in 2016, supplies the majority with fourteen stallions, but also offspring of older stallions such as Patijn and Urgent make their appearance. The kinship percentage varies from 2.7% to 14.4%.
Icellie – 7 offspring
Indiana – 3 offspring
Fantijn – 3 offspring
Heliotroop VDM – 2 offspring
Hertog Jan – 2 offspring
Image – 2 offspring

Bocellie, Bocellies Matteo, Idol, Innovatief, Jericho, Juventus, Makers Mark, Patijn, Urgent, Renvyle the Real Deal and Eclipse Flash Dance each have one offspring coming to Ermelo.
The Harness Horse Stallion Show can be followed online at kwpn.tv. Various show blocks and meetings in the studio will make this stallion show, where no audience can be present, into a fantastic day.
