2021 KWPN-NA VIRTUAL STALLION OFFSPRING FUTURITY

This is a fun and educational Virtual event for the KWPN-NA members.

No scores will be given and there is no official result.

• The Virtual Futurity is open to all “Foal Book” and “Register A” KWPN-NA registered foals and yearlings bred, owned, and residing in North America
• Owner must be a member of KWPN-NA to participate (memberships accepted with entry) and foals/yearlings must be registered KWPN-NA
• Separate classes for foals & yearlings
• Approximately $7,000 in prize money
• Offspring sired by stallions participating in the SSA the year of breeding will not pay an entry fee to enter. For 2021 foals, the stallion was in the 2020 SSA & yearlings in the 2019 SSA.
• A $25 nomination/entry fee for foals or yearlings from stallions that did not participate in the SSA the year of their breeding.
• Entries will be accepted by the KWPN-NA office between August 15 and September 12 
• The Futurity will include the following divisions for each official breeding direction of the KWPN-NA

1. Dressage Horses – foals & yearlings
2. Jumpers – foals & yearlings
3. Hunters — foals & yearlings
4. Harness Horses – foals & yearlings
5. Gelders Horses – foals & yearlings

• Entry form and video (YouTube link) to be emailed together to office@kwpn-na.org
• Entries must include completed entry form & video. If sent without both the form & video they will not be considered for judging.
• All ties will be split equally.
• No minimum number of entries per division
• Payout to first 3 places in 2021 in each group (Owner 56% & Breeder 44%)
• Videos will be reviewed by a panel of the KWPN-NA Board of Directors.  They will select the top Ten foal/yearling finalists in each division.  The Top Ten from each division will be then reviewed by our Guest judge panel (to be determined later) The criteria for judging the foals/yearlings will be based on conformation and movement.
• No scores will be given – only a ranking for the Final Five of each division
• No pedigrees, breeders or owners’ names will be revealed to judges until after judging is complete
• Videos will be posted on the KWPN-NA social media channels and Public YouTube page. By entering the futurity you agree to allow your video to be posted in a public domain
• The Board of Directors of the KWPN-NA reserves the right to revise the Foal Futurity rules and payouts in future years without notice
