Walk 9 Trot 9.5 Canter 9 Rideability 9 Posture and Balance 9.5 Athleticism 9 Transition Ability 10 Ability as a Dressage Horse 10 Willingness to Work 9 Obedience and Balance 9 Total 93 Points! Comments from the NRPS judges: Magic McKee L is a large-framed, highly appealing dressage stallion who stands out for his excellent disposition, trainability, and transitional ability. During the performance test, the stallion demonstrated a very strong and consistent performance, consistently showcasing his excellent disposition and qualities. His walk is diligent, clean-cut, and has good scope and excellent body use. The trot is characterized by beautiful leg technique and excellent hind leg use. The stallion displays excellent self-carriage and clearly excellent transitional ability. The canter has a beautiful uphill silhouette and a very good, powerful uphill jump. The guest rider also had a very positive impression of this high-quality stallion. In December of 2025 he was also approved with the KWPN. KWPN Performance report Exterior: Magic McKee L is a long-legged, generously developed stallion with a good rectangular conformation. The forehand is well-developed with a long, upward-arching neck and very well-muscled. The shoulder is long and sloping. The withers are well-developed, with a slightly sunken back. The loins are broad and sufficiently muscled. The croup is well-placed and long. The foreleg is correctly positioned when viewed from the side and from the front. The hind leg is slightly long. The hooves are generously developed and of good quality. The heels are appropriately developed. Pedigree: The Totilas son Total McLaren made a great impression as a three-year-old at the KWPN Stallion Show, where he was approved. After being sold to Denmark, he was approved both there and in Germany. As a four-year-old, Total McLaren won bronze at the Danish Dressage Championships, followed a year later by bronze at the BundesChampionate for five-year-olds. Due to an injury, Total McLaren is now fully dedicated to breeding, and his first crop includes this Danish-bred Magic McKee L, who represents a Swedish damline on his mother’s side. In the second generation, foundation stallion Negro adds his proven dressage genes to this versatile line. Granddam Falsett L produced, among others, the Small Tour dressage horse Bellair L (by Belissimo), ridden by Andrea Bjørk Vinther Dahl. In the 3rd generation, we find the international show jumping mare Catia Z, with whom Jos Lansink performed. She produced several international show jumping horses, including the 1.60m-classified Clochard. This direct line also produced the European Championship dressage horse Fitou L (by Florestan I) ridden by Lone Bang Zindorff, the U25 Grand Prix horse Fuerst Fahrenheit L (by Fürst Piccolo), and the national Grand Prix horse Hampton (by Blue Hors Hotline).
