We had a really nice day at the MP Sporthorses Keuring, held at the Southeastern Agricultural Center in Lumberton, North Carolina.  This keuring was super organized, and there were a lot of prizes donated for the winners. A Big compliment to the host and donors!!  We also appreciated that all the people were really motivated to gain information and to learn more about breeding KWPN Horses.  Thank you to our host, Melanie Harper!

DGB Cup for 5/6-Year-Olds

MANHATTAN (Governor x Elmay S ster keur elig PROK by United, BREEDER: H.G.W. SCHOUTEN, OWNER: TERRY LONG).  Manhattan is a horse with an enormous talent for collection. The  walk is clear but  needs more stretching. The trot has a good bending in the  hind leg that carries the weight. He could show more suppleness and straightness in the extensions and lateral work. His canter is impressively uphill with a lot of balance and technique.

Foals/Weanlings – Dressage

TOTALLY ADORED (Gaudi x Legata by Lingh crown, BREEDER/OWNER.: HELEN INGERSOLL) This colt is suffiencently developed, but could have a bit more stallion expression. He is nicely long lined in the body but still narrow in the chest. His movement is  light footed and elegant, but he needs to gain more power.

THUNDER ROAD (Numero Uno pref x Summer ster prest by Calvados keur, BREEDER/OWNER.: Jessica Bongers) Thunder Road is a foal with a good expression, good proportions in the body and correct in the foundation. He shows suppleness in the movement, but can gain some more strength.
