Good Morning from Lumberton, NC!
Our second visit to this well equipped site hosted by Melanie Harper of MP Sporthorses. Thank you to our host for organizing this keuring. Congratulations to all of our participants for a successful day!

First & Second Premium awards are given to horses that exceed and/ or meet the KWPNs high breed standards, and we are grateful to the owners and breeders for showing them to us. Not all first premium or ster horses are mentioned in ‘The Report from the Road ‘, only those horses that really stand out to the jury.

Dressage Mares for Studbook/Ster 3 YO:

Olympia MP – (Glamourdale x Katima by Blue Hors Romanov)
Owner/Breeder: MP Sporthorses
This daughter of FEI double World Champion Glamourdale is a refined and elegant type with a good topline.  She shows a light footed trot with good reach and balance as well as a canter with sufficient length of stride and balance.  She earns her Ster predicate today.

DG Bar Cup 5 YO:

Manhattan – (Governor x Elmay S ster keur elig PROK  s. United)
Owner : Terry Long
In today’s DG Bar Cup presentation, the gelding Manhattan displays a walk of sufficient stride, an active and supple trot and a canter with a lot of articulation and good extended/medium trot/canter.  He is an uphill, talented horse, yet could be more soft in connection.  

Foals/Weanlings – Dressage:

Owner/ Breeder: Terry Long
A well developed elegant type filly, she is long legged and well proportioned. Today we see a  trot that is supple and uphill, very adjustable, with good articulation and suspension, as well as a light footed and balanced canter.  1st Premium
