Coming to you from DG Bar Ranch, this was a wonderful location with enthusiastic people and very high quality horses.  Thank you to our host, Willy Arts and all of the DG Bar staff for your hospitality at this very professionally run keuring.

Dressage for Studbook/Ster 3 YO :

A sufficiently developed mare with a good shaped forehand. Her head/ neck connection is light, her neck, shoulder and withers are well shaped. The walk is active, the trot is energetic and light footed with a good technique. The canter has a lot of push off the ground and self carriage. Ster, Keur Eligible, Congratulations!

This is a very elegant and modern dressage type mare with a good topline. Her walk has a good overtrack, the trot has a very good technique and the canter has good balance and covers ground.  Ster, Keur Eligible, congrats!

Dressage for Studbook/Ster 4-7 YO :

Maebria DG PROK – (Totilas x Famebria DG elite IBOP (dr) by Idocus crown)

A good rectangular model, Maebria is long legged and an uphill built mare. Her topline could be a little stronger in the muscling. In movement, she is an  elegant and talented horse with a lot of uphill tendency. Her walk is active, powerful and covers ground well. Her trot is impressive;  uphill with posture and a lot of shoulder freedom. She has a good length of stride, and the canter is a highlight with a really good technique, a lot of self carriage and uphill tendency.   This new Elite mare is the winner of today’s DG Bar cup for 5/6 YOs, earns an IBOP score of 87 and also the Ster and Keur predicates.  Congratulations Maebria DG Elite!

Makanabria DG – (Rock Forever x Gamebria DG elite IBOP (dr) by Belissimo M)

A very modern mare,she is an elegant horse with a good type and a wonderfully shaped head. She has a lot of expression, her body is good in proportions. Her walk has a very good over track and is always clear in the rhythm. She has good use of the body. The trot is light footed and has great self carriage. Her canter is uphill and balanced, however she could bend the hindleg a bit more for even higher points. Very good rideability.  Congratulations to this Ster, Keur eligible mare alos today on her IBOP and DG Bar Cup performance, scoring 86.5.

A elegant dressage type filly. Long lined and uphill, she has good connections, a nice forehand and a long hamstring. The walk is big, but could be a little bit more active. She trots with a lot of self carriage, starting to trot from an active and engaged hindleg. The front leg has a good technique with a lot of shoulder freedom. The canter has technique, cadence and is active. A complete dressage horse!  First Premium

Two Year Olds – Gelders:

A very good Gelders type colt. He has a strong body with a very good shaped neck that is strongly muscled. The loins are strongly muscled. He has good developed and shaped feet. The walk is powerful. In the trot he doesn’t need the speed to keep the uphill tendency. He has a really good technique of movement with a lot of power. His Canter is powerful and supple with a lot of push off the ground. A real showboy!  First Premium

Very good development, long lined with a good forehand. The head is a bit long. Good shape of the croup and a strong and well developed fundament.  He has a good walk with activity and a clear rhythm. The trot is light footed, elegant with a good technique in the legs. The canter has a lot of balance, is ground covering with power and expression.  First Premium

A nice appearance, she has the development that she is supposed to have. A good shaped forehand with a long shoulder and a good topline. The hindleg is a bit straight. Her walk is supple with good ground cover. The trot is very light footed, with good transitions and shoulder freedom. The canter is supple, but could have a little more power.  First Premium

A filly with good development and a long legged and uphill build. A modern dressage type with good connections. The trot has a very good technique and a lot of expression and uphill tendency. She loved to trot, showing us the canter was a bit more difficult today. She has a good technique but could have been a little more relaxed today.  First Premium

A filly with good development, however at the moment a bit high in the croup and a bit weak in the back. The neck has enough length.She has long withers and a good shaped croup. The walk is active, with a good use of the body and ground cover. The trot is supple with a good active hindleg however it could be a bit more uphill. The canter has a lot of jump, power and balance with good engagement from behind. First Premium

Well developed with a nice presence. Long lined, strong in the body with a good forehand. She has nice proportions and a strong fundament. The walk is active and clear. This filly has very good development, an athletic body and long lines.  Her neck has a sufficient shape,but she could have a bit more muscle on the topline. The back and loins are well muscled.  The hindleg is a little bit sickle hocked, but she has good quality of feet. Her walk is active and clear, the trot is ground covering and has a nice technique. The canter has a good balance. Overall she could use her back a little more. First Premium

A well developed and long lined colt with very good connections and proportions. He has excellent type and quality in the fundament. He moves with a lot of bending, technique and uphill tendency. A beautiful,  modern dressage type filly.  She is well developed and long lined with good connections. She has a lot of presence. The walk had a good ground cover, the trot has good rhythm, posture and suppleness. A long lined and well developed filly.  She has a good connection in the topline, however at the moment is a bit downhill. The head is a bit long. The walk is clear, supple and has good ground cover. The trot has good ground cover and a lot of suppleness. The canter has a lot of suspension and a good posture.  First Premium

A well developed colt that is a good gelders type. He is long lined and uphill, expressive and a good forehand with a vertical and well muscled neck. He has a good croup and correct fundament, however his back could be a little bit stronger. He is a good mover;  with an active and powerful walk, a trot that has a lot of technique and posture and a canter with a lot of power. This foal is in the Register B, but due to his high quality the jury gave him an Honorable Mention today.

DG Bar Cup – 3 YO:

A nice horse and a friendly presentation. Today, the walk was not consistent, sometimes he missed the clear rhythm. The trot has a good 2 beat and is constant of self carriage. The canter is well balanced and has good ground cover.

This horse is elegant, and has a lot of youth. It was a obedient test. The walk is good  with groundcover and rhythm. The trot has a good rhythm, and the front leg has got a good reach. The canter has a good ground cover and suppleness. The horse needs to gain a bit in strength.

An obedient horse. The walk is clear and loose, yet could be a bit more active from the hindleg. The trot is good in balance and ground cover, however it should develop some more power. The canter has a good balance and ground cover. A nice horse that needs to gain in strength also.

The walk has a big overstep and is relaxed, could have more consistent activity. The trot has a good rhythm and balance. He needs more suspension in the medium and needs some time to gain more strength. He has a nice canter with a loose back and uphill tendency. A really nice harmony of this horse and rider, and a harmonious test.

A long lined horse with presence; his trot has a lot of expression, ground cover and suspension. He takes weight on the hindleg. The canter has jump and good use of the hindleg, with a good shoulder freedom. He sometimes could use more of the back. His walk is active and in rhythm, but could be a bit more relaxed. A nice horse with expressive movements.

An impressive and strongly built horse with a good use of the hind leg. The walk is clear with a good overtrack. His trot is powerful and uphill, yet sometimes it needs a bit more activity. The canter has a lot of balance and self carriage. He makes good transitions also.

A mare with a nice presentation and willingness. In the test, the walk was clear but a bit hurried and could use more ground cover. The trot is supple, but could keep more self carriage in the lateral work. The canter is light footed with a good ground cover. The connection to the bit could be more steady.
