Today, on the 2022 KWPN-NA Riding Horse Keuring Tour, we are at Canadream Farm, home to the KWPN stallions Wynton Pref, Zhivago, Knock Out and Tolegro. Thank you to MJ Proulx for hosting the Dressage and Southlane Farm for hosting our Jumper horses.  Congratulations to all of our participants for a successful day! Especially of note was that there was a very good quality group of Dressage foals, at this well organized keuring by MJ Proulx!

Gelders Mares for Studbook/Ster 4-7 YO:

Milena Dream – (Negro Pref x Exclusive STR Ster Keur El. Prok D-OC s.Wynton Pref)

Presented today in the Gelders direction is Milena Dream.  She is a good Gelders type;  heavy muscled with a  long well shaped neck.  Her croup is somewhat flat and long.  She shows a powerful trot, with a good length of stride.  Her canter showed sufficient length of stride, but she could be more carrying.  She becomes Ster and eligible for Keur.

Dressage Mares for Studbook/Ster 4-7 YO:

Nathalia MTA – (Totilas x Juweel of Litchy MFS Ster Keur El. Prok D-OC s. Bordeaux)
Owner/Breeder: Danielle Landreville
Nathalia MTA is well muscled and correctly built, however she could be built more uphill.  She has an active walk, a correct and functional trot with good posture.  The canter was tense and could be longer strided. She is awarded the Ster predicate today.

2yr Olds – Dressage:

This 2YO colt is a well developed and has an elegant type.  He has well developed withers, a good loin connection and correct legs.  In movement he shows an  expressive trot with good articulation and powerful use of the hind leg.  The canter shows sufficient length of stride.   1st Premium

We had numerous first premiums and 3 foals were selected for the Championship Ring!

Sensational Dream – (Secret x Kandyvrouwe Ster Keur El. D-OC s. Glocks Toto Jr.)

What’s in a name !!!   This Chestnut filly is a very expressive, modern and longlined dressage type.  She has a well shaped and muscled neck.  In movement she earns an 88 today.  She shows us a good walk, very supple and adjustable trot, very good suspension with expressive use of the front leg and powerful use of hind leg.  She has a great canter, it is  very powerful, carrying and athletic.  She is deservedly First Premium, and our Foal Champion today.

Shiraz Dream – (Ferdeaux x Exclusive STR Ster Keur El. Prok D-OC s.Wynton Pref)

This filly is well developed, longline with a vertical neck and good topline.  Her trot shows a lot of articulation and good mechanics; she is  supple and athletic. Her canter is well balanced, athletic, powerful with a good length of stride.  First Premium, Reserve Champion of this excellent group.

Sign of a Dream – (Knock Out x Endelin E Elite IBOP D-OC s. Spielberg)
Owner: Iron Sporthorses LLC.
Breeder:  Canadream Farm
A longlined, well developed and well proportioned colt.  He has long withers, a good topline with correct legs.  His movement is lightfooted, with good articulation and a  powerful hind leg but could be somewhat more uphill.  First Premium, 3rd place in our championship ring.

Sempiternal Dream – (Wynton Keur x Energy Ster Keur El. Prok D-OC s. Special-D)

An expressive type, well proportioned with a long, well muscled neck and correct legs.   She has good use of her hindleg, powerful and with good articulation, and sufficient reach in front leg. First Premium

Seasong Dream – (Zhivago x Evita Elite IBOP D-OC s. Rhodium)

A well developed colt with sufficient length in body and long withers. His trot is supple with sufficient use of the hindleg and a canter that is very well balanced, powerful and carrying.

A colt that is a modern type;  uphill with a well shaped neck, well developed withers and shoulder, a somewhat sloping croup. The movement is light footed in the trot and the canterr shows balance with sufficient reach.  First Premium

IBOP – Jumper:

Mylord Bloom  – (Mylord Carthago x Prelude Keur Sport s. Calvados Keur)
Owner/Breeder: Bloomington Farm
A long lined gelding presented today for his IBOP.  He jumps with a powerful take off and overview.  He could show somewhat more bascule and opening of the haunches, but he seems careful.  A passing score of 75, and earns the IBOP predicate.

GES Cup 3YO:

Oliva Bloom – (Diamant de Semilly x Prelude Keur Sport s. Calvados Keur)
Owner/Breeder: Bloomington Farm
A good score of 80 today, Olivia Bloom shows good overview for the jumps and a careful, upward take off. She has good use of the frontleg and body, and is athletic in her scope.
