A warm welcome to New England and the Brookside Equestrian Center where we see several of our longstanding KWPN breeding programs.  Thank you to our host, Carly Fisher for organizing this keuring. Congratulations to all of our participants for a successful day!

Please remember, that the jury’s remarks are for a snapshot in the lifetime of a horse.
Not all first premium or ster horses are mentioned in “The Report from the Road”; only those horses that really stand out to the jury.

Dressage Mares for Studbook/Ster 3 YO:

Olympites SSF – (Secret x D’Orites SSF Keur s.Donatelli)
Owner/Breeder: Shooting Star Farm
Olympites is an elegant, modern and long lined mare.  In her IBOP presentation, she shows a pure walk, good suspension,  a trot that is light footed and has sufficient reach, and an uphill, powerful and carrying canter. She appears to be a rideable mare and today becomes ster and eligible for keur and is the winner of the DG Bar Cup class.

Dressage Mares for Studbook/Ster 4-7 YO:

Nobilites SSF – (Borsalino x Galearites SSF Keur IBOP s. Totilas)
Owner/Breeder: Shooting Star Farm
A well muscled mare with a well shaped neck and good withers. She could be built more uphill. In movement she has an  active walk, good articulation in trot and canter with sufficient length of stride, however could be more uphill. She earns the ster predicate today.

Jumper Geldings for Studbook/Ster 3 YO:

Oxygen MG – (Impressive VDL x Jillbritta MG ster s.Crespo VDL)
Owner/ Breeder: Majestic Gaits
Oxygen MG is a well muscled, tall and powerful gelding.  He has a vertical neck, and a somewhat sloping croup.   Over the fences he is scopey with a powerful take off.  He is somewhat heavy footed, but has a good technique with the front legs and opens well from behind. Today he earns the ster predicate.

Jumper Mares for Studbook/Ster 4-7 YO:

Lillet – (Zavall VDL x Uresco Elite Sport s. Orame)
Owner/ Breeder: Dayna Gant
A long lined and correctly built mare, she shows us a balanced canter and jumps carefully with good front leg technique.  She could show more bascule and athleticism. She earns the ster predicate today.

Foals/Weanlings – Dressage:

Shri Lente – (Gaudi x Ade Lente IBOP  s. Freestyle)
Owner/ Breeder: Leah Jamieson
This filly is a long lined, modern and refined type with a long croup and lean, correct legs.  She is supple with an adjustable trot showing good articulation and suspension. Her canter showed sufficient length of stride and good balance.  1st Premium.

Starlette MG – (Five Star x Florette MG s. Schroeder)
Owner/ Breeder: Majestic Gaits
Starlette MG is a well developed and long lined dressage type. She has a well shaped and muscled neck, with good proportions.  In movement she is light footed and has a good reach and sufficient power in trot and canter.  1st Premium
