The 2024 KWPN-NA Stallion Service Auction was a great success again!
The proceeds of this fundraiser help fund our Keuring tour, the foal & yearling Futurity, our educational opportunities and the Annual meeting. A total of 129 
bidders were signed up and many were strategically waiting until the last moment before bidding on their favorite stallion. This caused an exciting ‘bidding battle’ on many items, that drove some bidders to choose the ‘buy now’ option. We think many bidders eventually got a good deal on their item of choice.

The Canadian bred and owned, and fully approved KWPN jumper stallion MESSENGER VF (Monte Bellini x Darco) won the title of TOP SELLER of the 2024 Stallion Service Auction!
Messenger is a Grand Prix jumper that is bred, owned and now shown by Canadian Ellicia Edgar of Valleyfield Farm.
Besides the overall Top seller, we also had Top sellers per sports direction. We made an overview of the high sellers in the six categories we’ve divided the auction stallions in.
The following stallions were the 2024 SSA Top sellers:

GeldersMcKenzy JHL (Alexandro P x WV Saron)
Generously donated by Alexandra Duncan (owner) and Brass Stables (agent)
Congratulations to breeders and owners and of course to the winning bidders. All winning bidders of this auction will receive a $100 discount voucher for a foal registration this year! The winner of the breeding to Messenger is also the high bidder in the Auction and will receive a free membership and foal registration. All foals by these stallions will get free entry to the foal & yearling Futurity with a prize fund of $10,000 coming year at the Keuring tour! Stay tuned for dates and entry forms. The foals by the SSA stallions from last year will get free entry this year, just like the yearlings by stallions from 2022, etc.
We want to thank all our generous stallion owners and -agents and all the loyal bidders for supporting our organization. We also want to thank our office staff and volunteers for setting up and running this auction the past months. Great job everyone!
