The KWPN of North America offers one of North America’s most expansive competition awards programs for dressage, hunters, and jumpers, and has recently expanded into combined driving and eventing. It’s FREE!
The KWPN-NA’s competition awards program has two components: individual show awards called “High Point Dutch Award” (presented at participating competitions), and year-end awards. We award 1st though 5th place winners with special ribbons. The 3rd through 5th place ribbons for the USDF KWPN-NA All-Breeds awards are sponsored by Kris Blankenship of Hayven Farms in Florida since 2025.

The KWPN-NA is proud to offer Special Awards of recognition. We take nominations first, after which the voting will take place. These awards are presented each year at the KWPN-NA Annual Meeting Awards Dinner. We award Breeder of the Year (since 2023 members can nominate a breeder in every breeding direction), Horse of the Year and Member of the Year.
Learn more about our special recognition awards via the button below.
Lisa Dickman of Kaneques Farm received the Bronze Level award at the 2024 AGM.
Besides prizes that our breeders can win in the Keuring tour (see ‘Keuring Awards’), we have designed a special Award Program specifically for our breeders: the Breeder’s Achievement Award.
The KWPN-NA Breeder’s Achievement Award recognizes our member breeders who have accomplished significant results throughout the years with their breeding programs.
This award benefits KWPN-NA breeders in multiple ways.
The breeder will get a mention on the social media when reaching one of the levels.
Then they receive an official certificate and are put in the spotlight at the Annual General meeting, during the Awards Banquet (in the event of a Virtual AGM, the breeder will get a virtual spotlight).
Finally, all the breeders that are in the Breeder’s Achievement Award program will get a special recognition on the KWPN-NA website, both in a newspost as a continuous listing in the Breeder’s Directory.
Please note the Breeder’s Achievement Award does not take the place of the KWPN-NA Breeder of the Year award, which is based on a single breeder’s accomplishment and which is nominated and selected by the organization’s membership.
