The Gelders horse has always been a very versatile type of Dutch Warmblood, suitable for
everyone and all disciplines. They have originally been bred to be durable and versatile:
beginning long ago as the farmer’s horse and the
family’s pleasure horse on weekends.
Liz van Woerden, originally from Holland, is living in the US for a period of time with her husband. She has loved and been involved with the Gelders horse for a long time.
