We are back with the Best Weekend All Year and ready to cheer on our Dutch horses entered in the 4*, 5* and Grand Prix competitions here at the Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event.
This year, our official photographer, Sarah Schaaf Photography, is there to capture all the action. The two KWPN entries of the 5* competitors passed their jog with flying colors!

2026 KY3DE entries

Curious why they call the Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event the #BestWeekendAllYear? Spectators don’t just get four exciting days of eventing, they also get to watch an exciting leg of the Major League Show Jumping tour at the Kentucky International CSI5*. Thursday night hosted the Qualifier with several Dutch entries.

Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event results:

The KWPN horses in both the 4*, 5* and Major League Show Jumping Kentucky International CSI 5* gained great results.

4*: 19th place Katie Lichten and Hickstead Musterd. 23rd place Laine Ashker and Lovedance
5*: 3rd place David Doel and Galileo Nieuwmoed. 8th place Phillip Dutton and Possante.
