Sunshine is a young stallion by Total McLaren (by Totilas x De Niro), out of the full sister of Jovian, elite preferent mare Idol (by Apache x Tango). He was selected for the performance test at the 2025 KWPN Stallion show. He was then sold in the Select Sale at the show and Josh bought him.
Sunshine comes from a superb dam line – his mother is not only the full sister of Jovian but has also produced the approved stallions Pride and Toto Gold. Sunshine’s grand dam Zinith produced the U.S. Grand Prix horse Friend (under Cecilia Stewart). From this dam line also comes World Young Horse Champion Astrix (by Obelisk).
