Sonnenberg’s Jersey is a jet black 16.3hh, 2024 and 2023 USDF National Champion, Fully Approved KWPN stallion, son of the legendary Preferent stallion Vivaldi and out of an impressively successful Dam line with Dam Sire Olympic Ferro. In 2023 Sonnenberg’s Jersey ranked #1 in the US at Prix St. George averaging 73.6% and was the US National Champion Developing Horse, Prix St. Georges, with Olympian Sabine Schut-Kery. In 2024 Jersey ranked #1 in the small tour and again won the US national championships at Intermediare1with Sabine Schut-Kery. This exciting couple is on their way to the big tour!  

Jersey successfully passed his KWPN Stallion Test as a three-year-old and was fully approved for breeding.  Jersey was the price highlight at the KWPN Stallion Show Select Sale, purchased by Eric Koele of Stoeterij Turfhorst to be developed in sport.  KWPN Performance Test scores included Walk: 7.5, Trot: 8, Canter: 9, Elasticity: 8, Posture and Balance: 8.5, Ride-ability 8.5, Talent: 8.5.

– Jersey ranked #1 in the US at Prix St. George averaging 73.6% and at Lamplight became the US National Champion Developing Horse Prix St. Georges with Sabine Schut-Kery.

2024

– Jersey ranked #1 in the US showing in the small tour and at Lamplight became the US National Champion Intermediare1 with Sabine Schut-Kery.
