Jaguar Mail Erkend for KWPN Breeding
The stallion jumping recently recommended giving Erkend status to the Selle Français stallion Jaguar Mail. The 17-year-old Jaguar Mail is a son of the English thoroughbred Hand in Glove xx. Mother Elvira Mail is a daughter of the English thoroughbred Laudanum xx. Grandmother Adoret Z is a daughter of the influential jumper sire Almé. With Hand in Glove xx she also produced the Grand Prix stallion Hoggar Mail. Grandmother Goldret is a daughter of the Hanoverian foundation stallion Gotthard. Jaguar Mail is more than 80% Thoroughbred and that makes him very interesting for mares that need ‘blood’.
The breeding product of Haras de Brullemail (France) was already convincing as a young horse. As a five-year-old he placed seventh in the French Championships and at age six he placed tenth at the World Championships for young horses in Lanaken. Later he competed many years at the highest levels of show jumping, such as the 2008 Olympic Games in Hong Kong.
From his first years of breeding in France we are already seeing several successful young jumpers and eventers, including Ténarèze, winner of the six-year-olds at the 2013 World Cup Young Eventing Horses in Lion d’Angers.
Jaguar Mail is a 1.76m dark bay and has met the KWPN radiograph requirements. Semen is available through Triple V Dekdiensten.
