We received a warm welcome with nice food and perfect conditions at Shooting Star Farm.  What a nice place for the people and the horses! It was lovely to see that there were so many people present to enjoy the KWPN horses with us. During lunch there was a presentation of the approved Gelders stallion Floris, and it was good to see him again!

PAEONIA SSF Ster, Keur Elig (Vivino x Hyacintia Elite, IBOP (dr), PROK pref by Charmeur, Breeder/Owner: Shooting Star Farm) Paeonia is a mare with a good, spacious walk. Her trot is elegant with an appealing use of the front leg. The hind leg comes well under the body, but could still gain some power. The canter has balance and good posture, and here too she shows a good leg technique. The mare is willing to work and sympathetic. She can still gain in straightness and an elastic connection to let her qualities come out even more.  With her successful IBOP score today, she earns her Keur Predicate.  Congratulations!

Stb/Ster 3 Year Old – Dressage:

RBG WENDY SSF PROK (Gaudi x Bowendy SSF Prest, Pref by Sir Sinclair Keur, D-OC, BREEDER/OWNER: Shooting Star Farm)  A strongly built mare with good connections in the body and a correct foundation.  However, she could be a bit more modern in type.  Her walk is clear and active, and could have a bit more stretch. The trot had so much rhythm and power; her hindleg is well connected, but the back could have a bit more swing. She is well balanced.  Her canter had good mechanics and power but could be a bit more supple. Congrats to this new Ster, Keur Eligible mare!

Foals/Weanlings – Dressage

UNA BELLA WENDY SSF (Gaudi x Bowendy SSF Pref, Prest by Sir Sinclair Keur, D-OC, BREEDER: Shooting Star Farm, OWNER: Cynthia Richards) . An excellent type with a lot of appearance. Her body is athletic and shows power in the connections. She has good proportions and a correct and well developed foundation. The walk is big and supple, the trot has posture, and is adjustable with good mechanics.  The canter is active and has jump, but  could show more supplenes. A top built foal!

UNITES SSF  (Moreno x Olympites SSF Elite, IBOP (dp), D-OC by Secret, BREEDER:  Shooting Star Farm, OWNER: Brooke Adams).  This filly is an elegant type with sufficient development. Her neck is vertical, and she has a good foundation.  However,  at the moment the back could be a bit stronger.  Her walk is active and clear, the trot is light footed with elegant use of the front leg. The hind leg could be a bit stronger but she is uphill with enough balance. Her canter had technique and balance as well.

Foals/Weanlings – Harness

UNO MISMO SSF  (Melody Acres My-Quest x Penelope Ster, PROK by Jaleet IBOP (tp), PROK,  BREEDER/OWNER: Shooting Star Farm)  A special mention for this high scoring Register B colt, as he is a very good harness model with alot of expression.  He is sufficiently developed, and upgraded himself in movement. He showed an extra special trot, with good leg technique.
