We had a wonderful and very well organized day at Iron Spring Farm.
The amazing facilities made sure that the horses and riders had the best chance to present themselves.  It was really nice to see and talk to all the enthusiastic people at this Keuring. A very big thank you to the whole ISF team for all their hard work!

DGB Cup for 5/6-Year-Olds

MASTERFUL DREAM ster IBOP (dr) (Everdale x Zsa Zsa ster D-OC by Jazz pref, BREEDER: MARIE JOSEE PROULX, OWNER: LAUREN CHUMLEY)  This gelding has a lot of mechanics and power in the hindleg, however this makes the contact still a bit unstable at times. His walk is huge; it is through the body and clear.

DG Bar Cup for 7/8-Year-Olds

LEELOO DALLAS  keur IBOP (dr) sport (dr) (Gaspard de la Nuit DG aang x Voque by Negro pref, BREEDER: RACHEAL MCKINNEY,  OWNER: LAUREN CHUMLEY)  LeeLoo Dallas is an elegant mare with a lot of bending in the hindleg.  She showed really nice lateral work, as well as working pirouettes and changes.

IBOP – Dressage

OPHELIA BSH  (Uthopia x Emerald’s Way by Sir Sinclair keur D-OC, BREEDER: JILL BLASLAND, OWNER: BRIDGET HAY)  Ophelia is a mare with a strong use of the hindleg and a lot of posture.  She shows a trot with technique, a well engaged hindleg and power. Her canter is powerful and well balanced.  She could have a bit more overtrack for a higher mark.  Her walk is active and clear, yet it needs to be more supple.

PIVADORETTE D-OC, (Furst Jazz x Wodorette ster keur elig prest D-OC by Farrington keur, BREEDER: J.M. KOOPMAN,  OWNER: CATHERINE MALONE, WELLINGTON.  This is an athletic and youthful mare with a good body conformation.  Her foundation could have even more quality for higher marks.  She has a wonderful trot with a lot of technique and mechanics and she shows good transitions.  Her canter has plenty of overtrack and power, but she could swing a bit more over the back.  Congratulations on your new Ster, and Keur Eligible mare today!

Stb/Ster 4-to-7 Years –  Dressage

LOVE DANCE D-OC (Vitalis x Love Princess PJF by Furst Romancier,  BREEDER: Juergen Fetzer,  OWNER: IRON SPRING FARM, INC.).  This is a long lined mare with a nice appearance. She has a good front and strong loins.  She performed 3rd level in the sport and combined with her conformation and d-oc predicate she received the Elite predicate today.  Congratulations!

Stb/Ster 3 Year Old – Jumper

PERLBRITTA MG (Cohinoor VDL x Jillbritta MG ster by Crespo VDL, BREEDER/OWNER: KATHLEEN HICKERSON).  This is a longlined mare with a good jumper type.  She Showed a good eye for the jump and has good scope.  Congratulations for your Ster, Keur Eligible mare today.

Stb/Ster  8 and older – Jumper

BARCA sport (sp)(Cartano x Couleur Fama SR Z by Couleur Rubin, BREEDER: H.G.G.M. VAN ENCKEVORT, OWNER: DEBBY STERLING)  Barca is an elegant jumper type that still is really strong in her foundation.  She has performed  to the 1.50M level with Holger Wenz. It was really good to see a mare like this back at the keuring. Hopefully she will have some really good offspring.  Congratulations on your new Keur Mare today.

Foals/Weanlings – Dressage

TUXEDO ISF  (Cum Laude x Ballerina Ceroon elite sport (dr) D-OC by Oscar,  BREEDER/OWNER: IRON SPRING FARM, INC.).   He’s sexy and he knows it…. Nice developed and long lined foal with a lot of appearance. He has a well muscled front and an athletic body.   He moves with a lot of posture, technique and carrying power.  He makes really good transitions; the canter is well balanced but he might have a bit more shoulder freedom in the canter.
