Predicate series part 2: the Sport predicate
The SPORT predicate is awarded to KWPN Registered mares (and Geldings and Stallions in NA only), for their own performance at recognized shows. The SPORT predicate can be seen as proof for the sports quality of a horse.
Required sports results:
1 point at minimum Z2 dressage (L3T2)
6 points at minimum Z level jumping (Level 6 jumping; jumps to 1.30m or 4’3″)
6 points in 3’6+ Hunter Divisions (Amateur, Junior and Professional Divisions)
points at Z level eventing (Preliminary) with no more than 20 penalty points in cross country
Gelders and Harness horses can obtain their sports predicate if they have five victory points or more in jumping, dressage, driving or in eventing in class M, or if they have started at least three times in all parts of the competition in an international four-in-hand competition, or when they compete in endurance class III and have achieved at least three victory points. Harness horses are eligible for the sports predicate if they have achieved at least 100 winning points.
Owners can request this predicate by mailing in the horse’s registration paper along with the sport application and official proof of sport results required for the predicate. After confirmation of results, new papers and a certificate will be mailed to the owner.
