Scores are announced for the NA Stallion Sport Test

The 2023 Stallion Test took place from October 6-8 in Solvang, CA  &  October 10-12 in Colora, MD. The judges this year were: 

Judges: Gerd Sickinger, Matthias Granzow, & Floor Dröge.

Dressage Expert: Josef Freese.

Jumping Expert: Bernhard Thoben.

Test Riders: Marion Ostmeyer (jumpers – both sites), Inga Hamilton (dressage – west coast), Jessica Wisdom (dressage – east coast).

FN Representative: Maren Schlender.

The highest scoring dressage stallion and winner at the West Coast NASST with with 8.75 points is Serupgaards Cézanne, 2019 Danish Warmblood (Torveslettens Sylvester x Romanov). Congratulations to owners Richard & Linda Nickerson, rider Willy Arts and breeder Heidi Bickham.
The second place goes to Oscar HF, 2019 Dutch Warmblood (Callaho’s Benicio x Krack C). He was bred by Ingrid Hamar, owned by Dynasty Dressage Group, LLC and also presented by Willy Arts.

The best scoring jumper stallion was Magnum TN, the 2017 Dutch Warmblood (Berlin x Stakkato) bred by Team Nijhof. With his score of 8.23, he is also the high score jumping stallion for the NASST 2023. Congratulations to owner and rider Erik Garcia!

The 2018 Dutch Warmblood stallion Nick of Diamond (Toto Jr. x Johnson) won the East Coast NASST with a great score of 8.65 points, scoring 9’s for walk and rideability. This makes him be the Reserve Champion of the NASST dressage stallions this year. Congratulations to owner Roxanne Christenson, breeder Barbara Lichtendahl, rider Lindsay O’Keefe and all other connections. Nick of Diamond is activated with the KWPN-NA.
The second and third highest scores were also for Dutch bred stallions Orado and O’Reilly.

Winner of the jumping stallions at the East Coast NASST is Un Heros D’Urano Gouden Bit Z, 2018 Zangersheide stallion by Urano de Cartigny x Chacco Blue, owned by Kelley Robinson/Karen Forbes, bred by P. Goossens and presented by Kelley Robinson. Congratulations with this win and the beautiful score of 8.18!
