31 Dressage stallions invited for the performance test
The stallion selection committee for dressage has started with a lot of energy in the second round viewing. The quality was of such a high level, that of the 48 stallions that were shown, 31 could be designated.
With his first crop, For Ferrero immediately did fantastic business by appointing three sons for the performance test. The Olympic stallion Painted Black even went a step further than that, with four designated sons. Several sons of Ferdinand (2) and Indian Rock (2) could also be appointed. “As the stallion selection committee, we are very satisfied with this first day. We were able to designate many high-quality stallions for the performance test and various stallions did good business with sons from their first crop, including For Ferrero. In mid-January we saw all the stallions at work on the lunge and today, our positive impression of that was often confirmed. We are already looking forward to further selecting these stallions in the performance test”, said committee chairman Bert Rutten.

Four stallions have been invited to come back tomorrow for the premium ring. The breeders of these horses will receive a breeder premium made available by the “Friends of the KWPN” at a later date.
