Offspring of non- activated Licensed and Approved KWPN stallions, Individually KWPN Erkend stallions and KWPN stallions that are approved with a KWPN Erkend studbook, will have a decreased Inactive Sire Fee of $50 (the fee was $100). So, if you take advantage of our discount offer of $50 off when you register your foal within 60 days after birth, the foal registration for a foal by a inactive KWPN sire will then be the regular $250. The goal of this new regulation is to encourage breeding to KWPN stallions and not ‘punish’ breeders that use KWPN stallions that are not activated with us. The inactive sire fee for registration of horses by Affiliate or outside stallions will remain at $100, as organizing the paperwork for these ‘unknown’ stallions is more time consuming for the office.
