Obelix REN is a stunning bay stallion by Van Uytert’s top stallion Just Wimphof and a successful VDL Stud dam line by Krack C. His bloodlines combine the best of German and Dutch breeding including the breeding legends, De Niro, Krack C, Sandro Hit, and Rubinstein. Obelix REN is the only son of Just Wimphof standing in North America. Hehas been competing in the FEI young horse division and is being developed by Josh Albrecht.
Obelix REN was imported to the USA as a 3 year old stallion, approved by AES. He has since been approved with a Danish Warmblood lifetime license, and in fall 2025 was approved with Oldenburg/ISR for a lifetime breeding license. Obelix REN is also now activated with Westfalen and KWPN-NA. His first foals will hit the ground in 2026. We expect him to pass on his phenomenal character, work ethic, length of leg and ability to collect. Obelix REN loves attention, has a strong work ethic, and is a pleasure to have in the barn.
