During the Annual General Meeting in March, the Special Recognition Awards were handed out. The winner of the Performace Horse of the Year was Diadora. She was first nominated by our members together with a large number of other great horses. Then during the voting round she received a large majority of votes.

Diadora (Vingino x Caretino) was bred in The Netherlands by the Ebbing Family from Exloo. She competed at 1.45m before being imported to the USA by her current owner Barbara LeStage. Diadora first successfully competed at Junior Hunters classes for a while with Barbara’s granddaughter. Then Kristen Bumpus took over the reigns and they immediately won many classes. In 2019 they won the $25.000 USHJA High Point Hunter Championship. Read this article on that spectacular win.
