16 JUMPERS SELECTED ON DAY 2 OF THE STALLION INSPECTION

After 32 jumping stallions were selected for the performance test yesterday, 16 more stallions were added today. Several sons of the KWPN recognized Apardi (3), Quabri de l’Isle (2) and Baltic VDL (2) received the green light.

The total thus came to 48 designated stallions, six of which got a premium. Today A La Minute Z (by A La Carte NRW), Niwyruso H (by Baltic VDL) and Nirvana V&V (by Farfan M) earned an invitation for the premium ring.

The KWPN-recognized stallion Apardi left his mark with three designated sons on this second day of the online KWPN Stallion Inspection, which is again followed by many enthusiasts from home and abroad. The KWPN-recognized stallion Quabri de L’Isle has also been appointed two sons, both of whom come from the breeding of Egbert Schep. “Today, just like yesterday, we were able to judge the stallions in a good way. Partly thanks to the good team in the cage, the stallions were able to present themselves in a calm and horse-friendly manner ”, said committee chairman Cor Loeffen, who judged together with Henk van den Broek and deputy Arie Hamoen.

6 PREMIUM JUMPER STALLIONS MAKE FOR A GREAT ENDING OF THE JUMPER SELECTIONS

The stallion inspection for the jumping stallions ended with a successful presentation of six complete jumping stallions in the premiering. The breeders of these stallions will be honored at a later date, with the breeder’s premium made available by the “Friends of the KWPN”.

After on the first day Nouri W (Cohinoor VDL x Carrera VDL, breeder KJ van Weperen from Oosterwolde) from VDL Stud, Night Life VDL (Erco van ‘t Roosakker x Arezzo VDL) from breeder VDL Stud and Saltador ter Putte (For Pleasure x Diamant de Semilly , breeder Family De Maertelaere) from Egbert Schep were invited to the premium ring, three more were added the second day:
– A La Minute Z (A La Carte NRW out of Nuhr ster pref perst by Libero H) from breeder Jacoba Stud from Wijster and co-registered Reinie Tewis
– Niwyruso H (Baltic VDL out of Wyrusa H ster pref perst PROK by Corland, breeder Anne Jan Hazenberg from Opende) owned by VDL Stud
– Nirvana V&V (Farfan M out of Sascha keur perst by Fuego du Prelet) from breeder Herman Voort of Den Ham

“We saw a very good group of stallions in terms of width, with six complete stallions that we were able to top. In doing so, we paid attention to the exterior, which must be appealing as well as correct, the free jumping of both the first and second viewing and the pedigree, in which the dam’s line is certainly decisive, ”Cor Loeffen explained. Due to all the restrictions it was not possible today to involve the breeders in the honoring of the six premium stallions, this will be chosen at a later time.
