The second stop on our keuring tour took us to the beautiful Prima Equestrian. Prima has been a long time host and the facility shows their pride in the KWPN horse.

 

The high score young Dressage horse was awarded to the yearling gelding Navajo P (Apache keur x Odette N elite pref D-OC by Houston keur), owner/breeder Prima Equestrian. This long lined and long legged gelding has a modern and expressive dressage type. His trot is light footed and shows uphill tendency with good posture. His canter is balanced and active.

Navajo P

The 3 year old mare Lumenette P (Totilas x Odette N elite pref D-OC by Houston keur), owner/breeder Prima Equestrian, has earned her ster predicate. This correctly built mare could be longer lined but has a correct walk. Her trot has good leg technique with sufficient length of stride and good posture. Her canter could be longer strided. The 8 year old gelding Gintaras sport (dr) (Farrington keur x Wind Dance by Ferro pref) earned his ster predicate. This well developed gelding is correctly built and already competes at Fourth Level dressage. He was also presented in the DG Bar Cup for 7-8 year olds and earned a score of 72 in this challenging test.

Lumenette P

The high score young jumper was awarded to the yearling colt Nacho Balou P (Balou du Rouet x Vabina elite IBOP (sp) prest D-OC by No Limit), Owner: Melissa Hicks, Breeder: Prima Equestrian. This long lined yearling is a good jumper type with a long neck and athletic body. His trot is light footed and his canter has good length of stride with sufficient balance.

The 4 year old mare Kolanda P (Vigo d’Arsouilles x Rolanda elte PROK D-OC EPTM (sp) by Ahorn pref), Owner: Crystal and Dale Hawerchuk, Breeder: Prima Equestrian, earned her ster predicate and became keur eligible. This well developed mare showed good technique and scope. She seemed to be careful and showed sufficient reach with her canter. Kolanda P also earned a score of 75.5 in her Global Equine Sires cup test.
