Jeroen Dubbeldam successful with new, U.S. bred horse
Jeroen Dubbeldam and the U.S. bred Counselor debuted on the international circuit in Drachten this weekend.
Counselor is an offspring of Judgement- ISF, who made a name for himself as an international jumper with Beezie Madden. In their first show on the international circuit, the Small Tour final in Drachten, Dubbeldam made it to the jump-off with Counselor, where they showed a nice, quiet round.
Counselor was bred in the United States out of the Farmer-daughter Shannondoah by Natalie Bryant of Little Creek Farm. Beezie Madden’s husband John bought the gelding in 2011 and he had been with Johannes Ehning before the ride went to Dubbeldam.
