The KWPN harness horse stallion Hermanus (Patijn out of Biantha V elite by Manno, breeder: G. Hermanussen of Beers) , who was approved for breeding this spring, has been sold to Jonas K. Lengacher, Martin Schmucker, Chris Schmucker, and Steven Graber of New Haven, Indiana, USA. Years ago, the men had purchased the now deceased preferent stallion Patijn. His son Hermanus will be his successor in New Haven.

Hermanus, the Champion of the 2015 stallion selection in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, was presented by De Zilfia’s Hoeve of Houten in the spring performance test. With an average score of 8, he was approved for KWPN breeding. His sale was facilitated by Roelof van ’t Oever.

Hermanus is by Patijn out of the multiple championship winner Biantha V (elite by Manno x Niantha keur pref by Renovo). The stallion was bred by G. Hermanussen of Beers. Roelof: “Hermanus leaves on Wednesday. Cees van der Maat will bring him to the airport, and I’ll travel with him as his groom. In America, he’ll be quarantined for 32 days, and then he’ll go to New Haven, where he’ll take his sire Patijn’s place as a breeding stallion.”
