1.50m Win for Ammeretto (s.Numero Uno) in Tryon

David Beisel and ammerettoA number of KWPN jumpers excelled in the CSI4* in Tryon, NC. The 1.50m ended in victory for Ammeretto (s.Numero Uno), with Wannick WH (s.Heartbreaker) and Osiris (s.Polydox) rounding out the top three.

David Beisel and Ammeretto (Numero Uno x Ranna keur pref by Goodtimes; breeder: A. Veenhof AZN) were the fastest double-clear combination in the Suncast 1.50m Challenge. Christine Tribble-McCrea also jumped double-clear with Wannick WH (Heartbreaker x Elseroodnoot keur pref prest by Joost; breeder: Stal van Bortel) and finished second place, just ahead of Gemma Paternoster with Osiris (Polydox x Zanette ster by Lucky Boy xx; bred by Arend Florijn). With 0/4 faults, Angel Karolyi and Venus elite IBOP/sp sport/sp (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve x Pascha W keur prest by Julius; breeder: Vincent te Poele) placed 6th. Hector Florentino and Allure G (Arkansas x Ulette ster by Oramé; breeder: Stoeterij Gaesbeek) finished 9th with four faults. Candice King and Valinski S (Nijinski x Rockina elite by Julius; breeder: Herman van der Scheer) slightly exceeded the time limit, which excluded them from the jump-off and landed them in 11th place.

KWPN jumpers also posted good results in the Suncast FEI (1.45m) Welcome. Angel Karolyi placed second in the class with Wings (Lexicon x Jersey by Columbus; breeder: A. Morsink-Wiefferink). Fourth place was for David Blake and Binkie (Larino x Whisper B by Hors la Loi II; breeder: Hans Dings). Gemma Paternoster and Zonneglans sport/sp (Dutch Capitol x Lutina-H prest by Wellington; breeder: Jack Verstappen) placed sixth, just ahead of Jonathan McCrea VDL and Brugal (Indorado x Solaris keur by Guidam; bred by Henk Dirksen and Martine Hijlkema). In the Speed Stakes (1.45m against the clock), Ljubov Kochetova and  (Marlon x Re’Alba VDL prest by Galoubet A; breeder: VDL Stud) placed third.

In Saturday’s Grand Prix of Tryon on Saturday, Gemma Paternoster and Zonneglans to end in 9th place with four faults while David Blake and Binkie, also with four faults, followed in 10th place. Twelfth place went to Angel Karolyi and Venus.
